In four years, Chisinau City can be much more developed, cleaner and richer, said the Liberal Democratic Party’s candidate for mayor of Chisinau Oleg Burlacu. If he is elected mayor, he promises to build a solid waste treatment plant, to purchase buses and trolleybuses and to build 50,000 parking places, IPN reports.
“We will purchase 100 new garbage trucks with non-reimbursable funds and 100 new buses and trolleybuses with such funds. All the suburban settlements will benefit from systematized and high-quality transport,” stated Oleg Burlacu.
The candidate aims to decongest Chisinau by modernizing at least seven boulevards and by building two overground passages at crowded intersections and to digitize the public services provided by the Chisinau City Hall so that any necessary document could be obtained by a simple click.
“We will bring to Chisinau at least five multinational IT companies that will create at least 1,000 jobs. We will build the national football arena according to the UEFA standards and this will enable to bring the greatest football players to Chisinau,” said the PLDM’s candidate.
Following a draw, it was decided that Oleg Burlacu of the Liberal Democratic Party will be next to No. 13 on the ballot.
