The Party of Law and Justice (PLD), with Mariana Durleșteanu as lead candidate, submitted the documents for being registered as an election contender to the CEC. The party’s leader Nicolae Alexei, who is the second on the list, said the candidates of the PLD are honest, experienced and upright persons, with Mariana Durleșteanu being a diamond among them. “We are glad that we managed to persuade her to return home and to take part in this election campaign,” stated Nicolae Alexei, being quoted by IPN.

Nicolae Alexei noted that at least 45% of the candidates on thir list are women. In the future, Durleșteanu could take over the party. As to eventual alliances in Parliament, he said it is too early to speak about this, but they will definitely not form an alliance with the Shor Party. “The electors should vote with the head. I do not want to anger them, but they bear a part of the blame for the situation in which we are. The politicians are also to blame, primarily the parties that entered Parliament and brought the country, the people to despair,” stated Nicolae Alexei.

Mariana Durleșteanu said she accepted to run for MP because she cannot be indifferent to the country in which she was born and she always followed the political life in Moldova. They are ready to form alliances with parties that have the same European values and work for the people’s benefit. The campaign should be fair, free and without denigrations and threats, while the ethics of a modern politician should be respected.
