Platina Chisinau finished last in the international ice hokey tournament “Eurasian Cup” that closed in the Russian town of Orenburg on April 7, IPN reports.
The Moldovan team suffered defeats in all the matches played: against Stalnye Lisy (2-5), Sputnik Iunior (1-7), Belyi Tigri (4-8), HC Celny (1-6), Tiumenskii Legion (1-2). Three of the nine goals of the team were scored by Roman Ahromenkov.
Tiumenskii Legion won the competition with 12 points scored.
The ice hockey club Platina is the most famous in Moldova. In 2011, the team became champion of the National U-18 League of Romania. One year later, Platina competed in the Romanian campership for seniors, but was excluded for breaking the regulations. The same year, Platina took part in the Youth League of Russia.
