The Electronic Governance Center, in partnership with the Special Telecommunications Center, launched the information resource mcloud.gov.md, which is to become a common governmental technological platform implemented by the Government, IPN reports.
The Cloud technology enables to reorganize the information structure of an institution and allows more institutions to use common applications stored in a common center by connection to the Internet.
According to a communiqué of the Electronic Governance Center, the advantages of using the Cloud technology include the saving of resources, the elimination of maintenance costs and improvement of the quality of data management and information security. The use of this technology will also allow to provide services of a high quality for people and the business community.
Moreover, the money saved this way can be easily reinvested for improving the existing services and for generating new services, bringing the interaction between the institutions and the people to a higher level of efficiency and quality.
