PGU Tiraspol distanced itself from Olimpus-85 at a difference of two points after defeating its main rival in Chisinau 33-29 in the derby match of the fifth stage of the national men’s handball championship, IPN reports.
Before the break, the guests were leading by 15-10. Untu scored eight goals for the team from Tiraspol, while Shipulin scored 11 goals for Olimpus.
“We lost at home in the previous championships too, but then took revenge away,” Olimpus-85 coach Boris Pogonii told a news conference.
