Petrocub defeated 2-0 Dacia-Buiucani in the fifth stage of the National Division. The goals were scored by Dan Taras (min. 29) and Sergiu Plătica (86), IPN reports.
As a result of this victory, Petrocub climbed to the first spot in the rankings with 13 points, having by one point more than Sheriff. The team from Tiraspol plays against Milsami in Orhei this evening.
“The match against Dacia-Buiucani wasn’t easy. It is important that we scored three points,” said the coach of Petrocub Lilian Popescu.
Elsewhere, FC Florești and Speranța Nisporeni drew 1-1. The guests opened the score in the 38th minute through Trofan, but Maniacov tied in the 75th minute.
