The Petrocub Sports Club Hâncești celebrates today, November 27, 20 years since its founding. The football team recorded its best results over the course of the last three years, when it won three times the bronze medal within the National Division.
The best striker in the history of the team is Vladimir Ambros, who was chosen attacker of the year in 2019. Ion Jardan, Alexandru Dedov, Andrei Cojocari, Victor Mudrac and Iaser Țurcan are other Petrocub players who play on the Moldovan national team.
Additionally, SC Petrocub finances judokas. One of them is Dorin Goțonoagă, who in 2017 became European Under 23 champion.
