Petrocub took a serious step towards qualifying for the Moldovan Cup final, IPN reports.
The team coached by Andrei Martin trounced CSF Balti 5-1 in the first leg played in Hâncești. The goals were scored by Abagna (4, 31), Lupan (72), Demian (80), Mudrac 83 and Damaşcan (11) respectively.
In the other semifinal, Zimbru won 1–0 against Sheriff. The only goal was scored by Cameroonian player Jessie Guera Djou in the 59th minute. The return matches will take place on May 1.
The final is scheduled to take place on May 25 at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau.
