Petrocub beat Zimbru 2-1 and remains three points behind the leading Sheriff. To the goals scored by Teodor Lungu and Ioan-Călin Revenco, the host replied through Shahrom Samiev, IPN reports.
In another match played in Chisinau, Sheriff defeated Sfîntul Gheorghe 2-0. The goals were scored by Mouhamed Diop and Cedric Badolo.
One more stage of the Super League has left. If Sheriff and Petrocub have the same score, a “golden match” will be played.
On May 20, Sheriff plays host to Milsami, Petrocub meets Sfîntul Gheorghe at home.
