Petrocub scored the first victory in the National Division this season. The team trained by Lilian Popescu beat Dinamo-Auto 3-1, IPN reports.
The goals were scored by Racu 14, Ambros 45-pen, Damașcan 90, and, respectively, Mihaliov 41-pen. As a result of this victory, Petrocub climbed to the second spot in the rankings, being two points behind current champion Sheriff.
The team from Tiraspol defeated away Sfîntul Gheorghe 1-0. The only goal was scored by Sinisterra in the 74th minute.
“Sfîntul Gheorghe had no kick towards the goal. We deserved this victory,” said Sheriff coach Zoran Zekic.
The last two matches of the second stage will involve the pairs: Dacia-Buiucani - Milsami and Speranța - Zimbru.
