Petrocub scored the third consecutive victory in the National Division and climbed to the first spot in the rankings. The team trained by Lilian Popescu demolished Dinamo-Auto 6-1 in the 13th stage of the competition, IPN reports.
The guests opened the score in the fifth minute, through Marin Căruntu, but brothers Sergiu and Mihai Platica changed the score swiftly. The top scorer of the championship Vladimir Ambros set the scoreline of the first half. After the break, Corneliu Cotogoi and Artiom Fedorov scored the first goals for Petrocub.
Petrocub has by one point more than Milsami, which today plays Sheriff at home. In another match of the 13th stage, Sfîntul Gheorghe defeated FC Florești 4-1 after being led by 0-1 before the break.
