The persons with severe childhood disabilities and with visual impairments who receive social care services at home from September 1 this year will also receive the allowance for care, accompanying and supervision of 820 lei a month, IPN reports, with reference to a Government decision.
The measure is aimed at improving the quality of life of persons with severe disabilities by ensuring the right to social care services at home, from which these benefit now, and also to the aforementioned allowance.
The costs for providing allowances to the 268 current beneficiaries will amount to almost 880,000 lei and will be covered with the transfers made from the state budget to the state social insurance budget this year.
