The persons who get a pension lower than 3,000 lei a month could receive by a lump sum of 700 lei in assistance. “We decided and I ask the Government to prepare the bill on the provision of 700 lei in assistance to all the pensioners whose pension is lower than 3,000 lei,” President Igor Dodon stated after the May 25 meeting of senior state officials, being quoted by IPN.
President Dodon assured that the financial resources for offering assistance were identified and voiced hope that the lump sums will be provided during the next few months.
The official reminded that 700 lei in support were also offered to persons with pensions lower than 2,000 lei on the occasion of the winter holidays.
