Persons with acute bronchitis and osteoarthritis to get compensated drugs

The persons who suffer from acute bronchitis and osteoarthritis will benefit from compensated drugs in the amount of 100% if they are under 18 and of 70% if they are older, IPN reports.

According to Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu, acute bronchitis was added to the list of priority diseases given the rise in the number of persons with acute respiratory infections who receive treatment at home and the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The persons with osteoarthritis will get two compensated drugs - Aceclofenacum and Diclofenacum. They will be prescribed by the family doctor.

The persons with diabetes mellitus will be provided with human insulin in the form of cartridges that are easily administered and have a number of advantages, such as higher measurement precision, low risk of hypoglycemia, possibility for persons with poor vision to administer insulin, convenience and flexibility when administering the medicine.
