Persons who received first vaccine dose abroad can get second shot in Moldova

The citizens of the Republic of Moldova who were vaccinated with the first COVID-19 dose abroad, for example, in Romania or in any other country, can get the second dose in Moldova. The information was confirmed for IPN by the coordinator of the national vaccination campaign Ninel Revenco.

For vaccination with the second dose to be possible, the person must go to vaccination centers or the family doctor to present the document showing the vaccination date and the type of the first dose of vaccine and to make an appointment to get the second dose.

“The person will surely be vaccinated with the same type of vaccine, in the interval recommended for each type of vaccine apart,” stated Ninel Revenco.

About 377,000 vaccine doses have been administered in Moldova so far. Over 60,000 persons got also the second vaccine shot.
