The period for reexamining the old-age pensions set until 2019 in relation to the insurance period accumulated after the person retires will end in 2022, not in 2027, as initially planned. This is provided in a bill that was adopted by Parliament following two readings, IPN reports.

The bill authors propose that the pensions of persons who worked for 15 years and more after retiring should be revised as of January 1, 2020. As of January 1, 2021, there will be reexamined the pensions of persons who worked for ten to 15 years after retiring, of those who worked for five to ten years as of July 2021, while of those who worked for two to five years as of January 1, 2022.

According to official statistics, 162,500 of the 700,600 recipients of pensions continue working after retiring.
