People who bought apartments in an unauthorized residential complex situated at 115 Alexandru cel Bun St went to the City Hall on Monday. Deputy mayor Ilie Ceban, in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, said that a special meeting will be convened to consider solutions, IPN reports.
It goes to a number of apartment buildings erected in 2014-2015. Two of them were erected in the absence of a building permit. The deputy mayor suggested that the people are now sent by someone to the City Hall to demand permits and solve the problem. Ilie Ceban noted that the City Hall is ready to help the people who bought apartments in those blocks, but by identifying legal solutions. The municipality cannot issue documents for unauthorized constructions erected almost ten years ago.
A proposal is to ask Parliament to adopt derogations from the law so that the block is authorized post-factum. This way, the City Hall will be able to issue documents without breaking the law. The municipal authorities will make all the necessary approaches and will invite representatives of this group of persons to work on each approach and identify solutions. But without the involvement of the Government, Parliament, the problem could not be solved, stated Ilie Ceban.
