Penalties imposed on National Division teams

The Competitions Committee of the Moldovan Football Federation fined Zimbru 10,000 lei, while Speranta and Milsami 2,500 lei each. It also decided to penalize the coach of Speranta Yevgeny Savichev and the player of Milsami Valerian Girla, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Federation, Zimbru was fined for not ensuring public order as the organizer club at the May 31 encounter between FC Zimbru and FC Tiraspol. A supporter of the team entered the field and had an offensive and provoking behavior towards the supporters of FC Tiraspol.

For offensive behavior towards the referee No. 4 of the match between FC Academia – FC Speranta, Yevgeny Savichev was suspended for four stages of the championship and banned from approaching the stadium. FC Speranta was fined 2,500 lei.

Valerian Girla was suspended for six stages of the championship because he spat at an opponent during the game between FC OIlimpia and FC Milsami. FC Milsami was fined 2,500 lei for the footballer’s behavior.
