The medical staff of the Strășeni District Hospital will benefit from modern working conditions, and the patients - from high-quality and safe medical services. The two-story block, with an area of about 1,000 square meters, in which the pediatrics and therapy units are located, was inaugurated after extensive renovation, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova, the repaired units have 46 beds: 20 – for pediatrics and 26 – for therapy. Annually, 1,500 patients are admitted to these units.
The Ministry noted that about 13.6 million lei was allocated from the institution’s budget for renovation, landscaping of the adjoining territory and outfitting of the halls with furniture and equipment.
The Ministry of Health said that, apart from renovation works, the institution in the last two and a half years benefited from state-of-the-art medical equipment and devices, in the amount of approximately 22 million lei.
