Patent holders aim to open consultations with other guilds in the immediate period so as to combine forces against the destructive government. According to them, the governments of developed countries do so that the people do not feel ignored by the state and do not take decisions until they are sure that they do not destroy people’s fates.

In a news conference hosted by IPN, municipal councilor Ruslan Verbitski, the representative of patent holders, said that for most of the holders, the patent is the only source of livelihood. If the authorities had had common sense and responsibility, they would have offered something instead before stripping the people of this source.

“We have a message for the PAS – all things come to an end and your cowardly and greedy government will also end. You should not consider that the people of Moldova are fools. The Moldovans are quiet people, but you mix up common sense with foolishness. You should know that you will go down in the Republic of Moldova’s history as the most callous, destructive and corrupt government,” said Ruslan Verbitski.

“It’s a pity, but any government that does not want to hear the people should leave. Go away immediately. We will achieve our goal as we will mount protests, if not in Chisinau then in other localities. We will make common cause with other wronged social sections and will prove that the place of the MP is among the people and during a state of emergency, you should not vacation in the Maldives and in other paradises. You must stay here and adopt laws that would work for the people, not against them,” said local and town councilor Olga Chapki, a patent holder.

Patent holder Eleonora Țurcanu-Herghelegiu noted that the minister in charge disseminates manipulative information in order to mislead public opinion. The minister said that over half of the patent holders complied and switched over to independent activity, but this is not true. “Only a small number of people did so. They are afraid. They don’t low know how to apply, how to work and how to fill in those registers,” stated Eleonora Țurcanu-Herghelegiu.

Trade based on patent was banned on July 1, 2023.
