The post of first vice president will be instituted within the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) and the number of vice presidents will be extended. The National Political Council of the PAS, in its January 4 meeting, approved a number of changes to the party’s statutes, IPN reports.
In a press release, the party said that after the changes to the statutes are registered by the Public Services Agency, the National Political Council of the PAS will name persons to the newly instituted posts on an interim basis. The meeting was preliminarily scheduled for January 18.
The Council discussed the sociopolitical situation in the country and the elections in Hâncești single-member constituency and set the tasks for the PAS local organizations for the immediate period.
