The Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) disapproves of Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea’s remarks and warns all the officials who are members or affiliates of the PAS to use decent language in any situation. The PAS reacted after the minister in a news conference on Thursday used swear words with regard to a journalist, IPN reports.

“Following this incident, Minister Bolea apologized publicly,” stated the party.

Media NGOs described the minister’s behavior as inappropriate and demanded that Prime Minister Dorin Recean should penalize him.

The reporter asked the minister if the state plans to offer assistance to apple growers. At that moment, Vladimir Bolea muttered several expletives to the journalist. According to the media NGOs, such behavior harms the honor and dignity of the person and run counter to the generally accepted norms of conduct in a democratic society.
