The Future of Moldova Party has an action plan for state development in all areas of activity, internally, externally and regionally, as well as concrete projects for economic development, the party’s chairman Vasile Tarlev, who served as Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova in 2001-2008, told a press conference at IPN.

According to Vasile Tarlev, the real sector of economy will be a priority for them, namely the supporting of domestic producers. Investments will be made to create well-paid jobs. They will ensure a better taxation structure that will convince the Moldovan citizens who left the country to return and work at home.

The party will promote civic education and patriotism programs so that “every citizen of the Republic of Moldova loves the homeland, knows the true history of the nation.” Vasile Tarlev believes that what children study at present at school at history lessons largely doesn’t reflect the reality of the Moldovans in the country and this is a problem of society.

The party will also come up with projects to minimize the country’s financial burden by giving up raising destructive loans. The party is committed to transparency and efficiency, said the former Prime Minister.

Valery Yanioglo, first deputy chairman of the Future of Moldova Party, said that the party will unite the people, will fight against the division of society and will create conditions for the Moldovans to return home.

Vasile Mereuță, the party’s deputy chairman, insisted on ending speculations that the Future of Moldova Party is “Tarlev’s party”. He noted that a party is not an LLC of a particular person. The Future of Moldova Party is the force that will unite the people. It will not fight against opponents, but will act for a better future for the country and its citizens.
