The People's Republican Party (PPR) calls on opposition parties and politicians to make a common front to oust from power “the Voronin–Rosca regime”. A statement in this respect was adopted on Saturday, 27 Sept., at the 2nd extraordinary congress of the party, Info-Prim Neo reports. “PPR calls on the opposition parties and politicians, who have not cooperated with the criminal Voronin – Rosca regime, to join their efforts in the noble mission of developing Moldova, so that the parliamentary lists do not contain people who would repeat the shameful act of the ones who voted the most horrible exponent of the Communist Party, V. Voronin for the position of president,” reads the PPR's statement. At the congress, the PPR adjusted his documents to the new Law on political parties. “Knowing the way of behavior of the present government, we expect that some parties may be denied the registration of the modifications, under different pretexts, and this may hinder them in their further work,” reads the statement. The PPR has also adopted a resolution voicing concern with the situation at the public radio and TV stations. Contrary to the legislation, and to ethical and moral norms, those stations do not service the citizens interest, but the interest of the Communist government, the resolution states. PPR's leader Nicolae Andronic could not attend the congress because of an illness.
