The provision by the Supreme Security Council of information about national security, defense and public order, including data that represent state, commercial or banking secret, will be mandatory, says a bill to amend the State Security Law that was given a final reading by Parliament on July 5, IPN reports.

Under the bill, the central public authorities, the authorities controlled by the Government and the organizational bodies that are within their area of competence, including those where the central administrative authority has the status of founder (enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership) and the autonomous public legal entities, are obliged to furnish at request any information about national security, defense and public order, including data that represent state, commercial or banking secret.

The bill that was drafted by a group of Socialist MPs was adopted by 56 votes in favor.
