The Parliament of Moldova has launched a new website as part of the e-Parliament information system. The site provides information about the legislative structure, activities, foreign relations, and decision-making transparency. Users can access sections such as draft normative acts, plenary and standing committee meetings, parliamentary oversight, e-Petitions, the daily parliamentary agenda, latest news, statements, and announcements, IPN reports.
The homepage includes links to the Parliament's social media accounts and pages, photo and video galleries, live streams, and a dedicated page for citizens to schedule a visit to the Parliament.
The old version of the website will remain updated until the end of the current year and can be accessed at old.parlament.md. Meanwhile, the new website offers access to all legislative initiatives registered since January 1, 2023.
The e-Parliament system was developed through the UNDP Project "Enhancing Parliamentary Governance in Moldova", created by NextSense, a company from North Macedonia, with funding from the Swedish Government and contributions from the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
