Painting with Moldovan culture motives among presents given to Iohannis

A painting on wood representing motives typical of the culture of the Republic of Moldova is on the list of things offered as gifts to the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis last year on the occasion of protocol events. On its website, Agerpres Agency says the painting is worth €115, IPN reports.

Among the most expensive presents received by the President of Romania last year are a replica of the sword of Ruler Stephan the Great made from gold metal, with the length of 120 cm and with a stylized handle, and a silver vessel in a wooden container to the value of €300 each.

The total value of the presents given to Klaus Iohannis last year is over €1,800. The received objects will form part of the property of the Presidential Administration.

During his last visit to Chisinau, Klaus Iohannis was offered a commemorative silver coin titled “My Doctor – My Hero” by President Maia Sandu.
