The presidential election of the Republic of Moldova has witnessed a record turnout among the diaspora. The polling stations in the U.S. and Canada continue welcoming voters. In New York, the Moldovan citizens remain active and involved, demonstrating an impressive mobilization at the polls, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, quoted by IPN.

In Canada, voting at the polling stations in Calgary and Vancouver will last until 07:00 a.m. Chisinau time.

By 09:45 p.m., over 320,000 Moldovans abroad exercised their right to vote. The electoral authorities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs carefully monitor the voting process, facilitating voters' participation in the ballot in safe and efficient conditions.
