More than 23,000 voters requested to be allowed to vote at the place of stay in the presidential elections of November 1. Of the total number of applications, 321 were filed by voters with symptoms of COVID-19.

The Central Election Commission said the voters who, for health or other well-founded reasons, cannot go to the polling place can ask to be allowed to vote through the mobile ballot box until October 31, 6pm. On the election day, applications can be submitted until 3pm, if a medical certificate is also presented, IPN reports.

Given the public health crisis, only the voters with symptoms of COVID-19 can vote at the place of stay until 3pm without presenting a medical certificate. The given persons vote by the list for voting at the place of stay compiled by the electoral bureau based on the submitted applications.
