More than 12,600 people visited the Parliament throughout the last year. A total of 414 guided tours were organized in the Legislative building. Of the total participants, half were children, and a quarter were students, IPN reports.

Throughout the last year, Parliament received visitors from all districts of the country, including from areas on the left bank of the Dniester. 33% of the visitors were residents of the capital, and nearly 40% were citizens from various districts.

Additionally, visitors came from over 30 countries, including the United States, France, Romania, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, China, India, Kazakhstan, Portugal, Puerto Rico, and more.

The majority of the tours, about 90%, were conducted in Romanian. The remaining 10% were in English and Russian.

During 136 informational visits, citizens had the opportunity to meet with members of parliament, and 21 groups even participated in a plenary session of Parliament.

Last year, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova also hosted 2,730 children who were part of the educational program "European Moldova" launched by the Government, as well as 122 individuals who participated in the "Dor" camp – "Diaspora. Origins. Roots."

Moreover, the Parliament welcomed 250 Romanian language and literature teachers working in schools with ethnic minority languages, around 100 children and adults who are refugees from Ukraine, approximately 130 people from the Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit, and 35 Roma youth recipients of merit scholarships.

Parliament has been organizing guided tours since 2014. These tours are free of charge and are held weekly, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, in Romanian, English, and Russian. Visits can be scheduled by accessing the parliamentary institution's webpage.
