More than 120 small and medium-sized enterprises benefitted from preferential loans in the framework of the government program “373”, the Cabinet’s spokesman Daniel Vodă told a news conference.
He called on those who know people who run SMEs to urge them to apply to the given program as they can this way contribute to increasing investments in the economy, IPN reports.
The objective of the program is to stimulate economic growth and entrepreneurship by financially supporting entrepreneurial initiatives.
The beneficiaries have the interest rate on loans for investment needs subsidized: up to 3% for loans in foreign currencies and 7% for loans in lei.
