The visitors of “Orheiul Vechi” reserve will enjoy good music and unique experiences at the Gustar Music Festival during August 18-20. Those attending will be able to listen to songs sung by Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra - the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. A zone for children and a yoga zone and also an open-air cinema will be set up on the territory of the reserve, IPN reports.

The visitors will be able to go camping, to see old rupestral monasteries in Orheiul Vechi, to taste specialties of Moldovan, Balkan and European cuisine and Moldovan wines and to make a tour of local wineries. There will also be staged masterclasses.

The Gustar Music Festival 2023 will include a performance of music involving one of the most famous Balkan singers, Goran Bregović from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one of the most successful artists and composers in Eastern Europe, Minelli. Musicians and bands from Moldova will also perform, including composer and instrumentalist Valentin Boghean, Tharmis & Valentin Uzun.

The Gustar Music Festival is the first Moldovan festival that in 2010 transferred live music and the concert stage to the natural amphitheater of one of the most beautiful historic places of Moldova – “Orheiul Vechi” reserve. Gustar included Moldova in the list of European countries with the best music festivals. The name of the festival derives from an old Latin word meaning “August”.
