Ordinary Madness closes Eminescu's season

Petr Zelenka's “Tales of Ordinary Madness”, directed by Sandu Grecu, is the play that will close the theatrical season 2007/2008 of the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu” . This last performance will be played on June 25 and 26 at 6:00 pm, Info-Prim Neo reports. As Eminescu's artistic director Alexandru Cozub stated, this play was picked to culminate the season because “it's a story about all of us and it's very topical”. The actors in the cast include figures from Eminescu's standard repertory like Petru Oistric, Ninela Caranfil, Nicolae Darie, Margareta Pantea, Nicu Suveica, Angela Ciobanu, Ion Mocanu, and others, and each of the actors fits his character perfectly, Cozub declared. The play will be repeated in the fall if the public asks for a comeback, said Cozub, adding that the new season is expected to bring a breath of fresh air alongside popular plays.
