Declarations of Vladimir Voronin at the press conference that took place on July 11 “throw Moldova into a diplomatic chasm” is said in a declaration of “Moldova Noastra” Alliance (MNA) faction, broadcasted by the Press Service of the Parliament. According to the persons that signed the declaration, the public opinion watches closely the declarations of the Romanian president Traian Basescu regarding the offer to support Moldova to join faster and together with Romania the European Union. “Although the president Vladimir Voronin denies the offer, we are sure that the offer was made, that is why MNA condemns the lack of transparency and the refuse to present the offer to the public opinion” says the declaration. According to the document, the failure of CPRM, which decides for 7 years everything in this country and is responsible for the consequences, paralyzes the communist leadership which desperately searches solutions for the disastrous situation of country. Scared of the collapse perspective, as a result of the indefinite pro European message and incapacity to have civilized relationships with Russia and other countries of the ex-soviet space, the governors make a scapegoat out of Romania, following – without no doubts – to harden the integration of Romania into the European structures, as it was done before its admission to NATO, AMN states. Declarations about “the occupation of Basarabia in 1918 by the administration from Bucharest” and “liberation on June 28, 1940 of the present territory of Moldova of the Romanian occupation” show that Voronin has great deficiencies in history knowledge, and greater at the chapter of political responsibility, that a head of state must have, the authors consider. According to the same sources, by signing the EU-Moldova Action Plan the governors wanted to promote the pro Russian standpoints using the money of EU and NATO. A communist governing can not ensure European integration. On the contrary, the communists reduce all chances to establish normal relationships with any country, especially with the ones that want to sincerely support Moldova on its way towards EU, the declaration concludes. At the beginning of this month, Traian Basescu declared that Romania offered Moldova the chance to join together with Romania to EU. Vladimir Voronin retorted on July 11 that he did not understand these declarations and that the Romanian president did not present any proposals on this issue.
