The opposition, by submitting the no-confidence motion against the Filip Government, discredits the no-confidence motion as a democratic instrument, said experts invited to the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.

Analyst Victor Gurau noted that the opposition abuses its position and proposes no-confidence motions without reason. “It happened as in the case of state awards. When shared to one and all, these lost value. The no-confidence motion also lost value because it began to be used inappropriately,” he stated.

Alexandru Cauia, who heads the youth organization of the Democratic Party, said the no-confidence motion and the protests are democratic instruments that the opposition should use. “In our country, the opposition abuses these values only for the purpose of coming to power. They discredited these values,” he stated.

Alexandru Solcan, the dean of the State University’s Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences, also said that the parliamentary opposition abuses the democratic instruments provided by the Constitution.
