Out of the persons who took the driving test to get a driver’s license of category B, 17% passed the test at the first attempt. This is 5.8% of the total number of attempts to pass the exam, IPN reports, quoting the Public Services Agency.

In 2022, the Motor Vehicle Registration and Driver Qualification Department recorded 154,761 attempts to take the exam for obtaining a driver’s license of category B, made by 52,551 persons.

“Given the rise in the number of road traffic accidents that result in death or injuring of persons, the Public Services Agency urges you to thoroughly prepare for exams and to avoid any proposal to take these by illegal ways. The negligence and lack of attitude on the part of some of the participants in traffic generate the terrible road accident statistics,” noted the institution.
