Online guide for The Bat! email client becomes available

Ritlabs, SRL introduces web-help in the new The Bat! v6.5. Currently it is available only in Russian. From now on the users will be able to get more information on the subject by simply pressing the F1 key directly in the program. The guide is to be put into operation today, July 22, IPN reports, quoting sources in the company.

The Bat! email program offers a lot of useful features and sometimes it takes time to learn how to make the most of it. Now it’s much easier: the new context help offers information on a feature right away, sparing the user from grueling search in the documentation, said Ritlabs director Maxim Masiutin

The online guide for users of The Bat! v6.5 represents:

-  Always up-to-date information: the web-help for The Bat! email client is constantly being updated and refined by the support team.

-  Quick access to the needed info: simply press the F1 key in any menu of the program to get a web page with the relevant article instantly opened.

-  Comfortable usage: the articles in the new web-help system are grouped into main sections making it simple to head for the needed one.

-  Quick navigation: in the guide you can search by the key words and quickly get over from one section to another.

The Ritlabs director also highlighted other new opportunities opened up by the guide:

-  Visual presentation of information: every article is supplemented with screen shots to make it easier understand The Bat!’s features.

-  A simple und understandable text: every article is a guide which helps the user quickly set up the program.

Maxim Masiutim said that to learn all the features and options there is no need to install the email program as all the information is already available online. “As the online guide will be constantly updated, we would like the users to take part in its subsequent refinement. Everyone’s suggestions and remarks are welcome at online-help@ritlabs.com,” he stated for IPN.
