Ștefan Creangă, one of the directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER), tendered his resignation. This is to be accepted by Parliament.

Contacted by IPN for details, the head of the Agency’s Communication Service Galina Sanduţa confirmed that Ștefan Creangă decided to vacate his seat, but didn’t specify the invoked reasons.

The National Agency for Energy Regulation is managed by an Administrative Board that consists of five directors. Veaceslav Untila is the director general, while Octavian Calmîc, Eugen Carpov, Ștefan Creangă and Violina Șpac serve as directors. All of them, except for Violina Șpac,
were named to posts in February 2019. Șpac was appointed NAER director one year later.
