Minister of Education Dan Perciun announced that ninth graders will have the opportunity to take the graduation exams in three attempts, instead of two as it was so far, IPN reports.
"This year, students will have three attempts to pass the exam, compared to two attempts in previous years," the minister announced after the Cabinet’s meeting.
"Even if they do not pass these exams, the students will be able to continue their educational path in our vocational schools," Dan Perciun added.
The minister noted that the results achieved by the students of the ninth grade at the pretest in February are better compared to those obtained at the thematic test in November. The Ministry of Education highlighted a positive evolution, with the pass rate increasing from 44% in November to 58% in February.
