One more ambulance involved in road accident

An ambulance team of the Chisinau Ambulance Service were rushed to the hospital with different traumas after their vehicle had been involved in a traffic accident at the intersection of the streets Ismail and Bucuresti on July 19, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Ambulance Service, the ambulance had the siren and flasher on and was taking an unconscious man to the Emergency Hospital. It was struck by a car that did not give way. The ambulance driver suffered rib fractures, while the doctor's assistant a contusion. Two occupants of the car also sustained injuries. A similar accident happened on Saturday, July 17. At least five ambulances have been involved in road accidents this year.
