On Europe Day, public will be able to talk to ministers

Members of the public will be able to talk directly with the Cabinet ministers on Europe Day, on May 9. The Government will install a tent for this purpose in the Great National Assembly Square, opening at noon.

Those interested will be able to discuss “the joint effort in the process of building a prosperous, modern and European state”, according to a press release. Also, those interested will be able to sign up for a tour of the Government building, including the institution’s museum, meeting hall, media room and other important venues. Children will participate in a treasure hunt, and each competitor will be guaranteed a gift.

In the Government Garden, visitors will be treated to a number of exhibitions, including the exhibition of equipment and special vehicles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Customs Service and the State Tax Service.

On Europe Day, 18 of the EU member states and 30 EU-funded projects in Moldova will provide visitors with information about the activities carried out and the specific or potential beneficiaries of the assistance provided. In the evening, the public is expected at a concert by Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici & Orchestra, The Urs, Lupii lui Calancea, the ensemble Hecenii and the Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine, and others.
