The beach soccer teams Olimpia-Stels and Djoker Chisinau left the Euro Winners Cup 2020 that is held in the Portuguese city of Nazare, IPN reports.
Olimpia lost the two matches of the group to BSC Kristall, Russia, 1-9 and to Grasshopper Zurich, Switzerland, 2-12.
Instead, Djoker scored an 8-2 victory against Portugal’s Sotao Norte, but lost the decisive match against Rostocker Robben of Germany 3-6, failing to qualify for the 1/18 finals of the competition. The goals for Moldova’s champion were scored by Victor Comlionoc, Alexandru Țîmbalist and Nicolai Șchiopu.
