Oleg Onishchenko decided to withdraw from the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) and tendered his resignation from the post of councilor, IPN reports.
On a social networking site, the leader of the Socialist group on the CMC Ion Ceban posted the scanned resignation submitted by Oleg Onishchenko. This had been authenticated by the Council’s secretary Adrian Talmaci.
“This is one of the correct decisions taken by citizen Onishchenko,” wrote Ion Ceban.
This February, the Party of Socialists decided to exclude councilor Oleg Onishchenko from the group for multiple violations of decisions taken by the group and the party. Then, in a posting on Facebook, Ion Ceban wrote that Onishchenko was also excluded because he voted together with the Liberal councilors and for other actions that are to the detriment of the inhabitants of Chisinau municipality.
