Officials of all ranks – parliamentarians, ministers, ambassadors, district presidents, municipal councilors, rectors, etc. – have congratulated Vladimir Voronin, the Moldovan president in office, on Monday, May 25, on the occasion of his 68th anniversary. Many Chisinau councilors wished him happy birthday. Among them: Svetlana Popa, Reghina Apostolova (PCRM), Alexandru Corduneanu (PPCD), Valeri Climenco (Ravnopravie), Oleg Oniscenco (Casa Noastra Moldova), etc. “The main gift of the president is the stability in Moldova,” municipal councilor Alexandru Roman stated, when asked what gift he had given Voronin. He is married, he has a daughter and a son. He was elected as a president on April 4, 2001.
