Moldova’s statehood project degenerates. Respectively, a degenerating project cannot ensure the incorporation and integration of the inhabitants from the left side of the Nistru River, based on a set of values typical of a democratic state governed by the rule of law, political analyst Oazu Nantoi said in the program “People’s Council” on 10TV channel, IPN reports.

“The Republic of Moldova as a state should be able capable, should have political will and sufficient mobilization to oppose the Russian Federation’s attempts to maintain the status quo,” Oazu Nantoi said in the talk show.

According to him, the Moldovan political class is not able to cope with the challenges related to the project to reunify the Republic of Moldova and resolve the Transnistrian dispute. “The political class in the Republic of Moldova plays the country game, simulating preoccupation with the Transnistrian conflict. Some follow impotently the degeneration of Moldova’s statehood project. Others hurry to yet profit from the existence of this separatist regime, which is the business partner of the corrupt Moldovan politicians,” stated the analyst.

Oazu Nantoi considers that to settle the Transnistrian conflict, those from the right bank of the Nistru should become united people with critical thinking. “If we speak about the settlement of the conflict, besides the formal control over this territory at a time when the pullout of the Russian troops from Moldova’s territory and the demilitarization of this region are not discussed, we must have a very clear and unique program to get rid of the effects of this regime. We should have a “de-Transnistrization” program on the left side of the Nistru so that the people are helped to realize that they live in a trap, that their minds were deformed by the local propaganda and that there is another reality called the democratic state Republic of Moldova,” he said.

According to the analyst, renouncing the eastern districts of the Republic of Moldova would mean a manifestation of impotence and primitivism.
