Number of Transnistrian businessmen registered in Chisinau increasing

Until now, 182 Transnistrian businessmen were registered at the State Registration Chamber of Moldova, compared to 168 at the beginning of May. Of them 84 businessmen have temporary registration with the identification code IDNO, and 98 have permanent registration. According to the Ministry of Reintegration, during February 13 - May 26, 2006, 22 Transnistrian businessmen addressed to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova, and they were issued 551 goods origin certificates and export licenses, including 447 – preferential. Now 14 Transnistrian businessmen have licenses for producing alcoholic drinks, seed producing and selling, pharmaceutical activity, international auto goods transport, passenger transport, and mineral water production, licenses issued by the License Chamber. In the last three months, the volume of export-import goods of the Transnistrian enterprises, checked and certified by the Customs Service of Moldova was of 431.2 million lei, including for export – 299.5 million lei, and for import – 131.7 million lei. The amounts paid by businessmen from the Transnistrian region within export-import activities, starting August 2004, were reimbursed integrally - about 5.8 million lei.
