Nokia could participate in implementing investment projects in Moldova

President of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin met with the representatives of Nokia’s leadership. The perspectives of Nokia’s participation in implementing investment projects, related to the field of telecommunications, especially of modernizing infrastructure in this field in Moldova were discussed at the meeting. The president mentioned about the interest of Moldovan authorities in settling collaboration with Nokia, which is a reliable and trusty partner, well-known leader in telecommunications. Nokia entered the market of mobile communications in 1865 as paper producer. Nokia is the first company in the world which began developing mobile phones for the Nordic Mobile Telephone (NMT) network standard.
