No candidates registered for TRM chairmanship

The Supervisory Board of the “Teleradio-Moldova” Company hasn’t registered any candidates for the offices of the “Teleradio-Moldova” Company’s chairman and directors of Radio broadcasting and Television, the SB’s secretary Anatolie Dubrovschi told Info-Prim Neo on Friday, March 2. The deadline for submitting applications is March 23. The members of the Board will meet on March 28 to appoint the chairman and two directors of “Moldova 1” and “Radio Moldova”. According to the provisions of the Audiovisual Code, the 3 employees are to meet a range of requirements: professionalism in the domain and manager skills; higher education; to be Moldovan citizens; to know the official language and others. The respective offices are incompatible with the office of Government’s member, MP, CCA member; party membership; employer or employee, partner, shareholder or owner of a private broadcaster. The Board confirms candidates with the vote of at least 2/3 of the members. The Company’s chairman and the 2 directors are appointed for a 5 year term.
