Nistru combatants request dismissal of the ministry of internal affairs

The council of the Chisinau municipal organization of the Independence War Veterans National Union from the Republic of Moldova is outraged because of an explosion that took place at the widow of the apartment of Constantin Domnisor, a police officer and an active participant in the Nistru conflict, and strongly condemn the intimidation attempts of troublesome persons for the ministry of internal affairs, Gheorghe Papuc, states a declaration of the organization. Moreover, in order to assure an objective investigation of the incident, the combatants request to suspend minister Papuc from its function for the time of the investigation. If the inquiry is hampered with and if minister Papuc continues to intimidate the Domnisor family members and other present or former collaborators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs UNVRI will proceed to mass protest demonstrations. Major Constantin Domnisor recently announced he found out he possesses an apartment he didn’t know of. Shortly after he insisted to get in the possession of the apartment, a grenade exploded at its windows. Domnisor accused Gheorghe Papuc as responsible for this attack, qualified by him as a “murder tentative”. Several opposition deputies requested from the Parliament to suspend the ministry of internal affairs, but the National security, defense and public order committee and the Parliament permanent bureau decided not to get involved in the investigation.
