Nigerian students declare support for Moldovan university regardless of the threats and warning to not speak the truth. The students says the university, Professor Avornic Gheorge, and Dr Ugbo Johnbull does not Extort, Maltreat, Bully, Threaten and traffick the Nigerians students in AUM and USPEE under duress or false pretence like some students are accusing.

The students called it a quest for power and a propaganda to seek pity from the general public and the Moldovan society at large. The students emphasised that Professor Avornic Gheorge and Dr Ugbo johnbull has never subjected any students to forced manual labour, a compulsory 8 hour work, receive student salaries for the hours student work, and that they haven’t experienced any unlawful and inhumane treatment. The students also explain that the fine and fees collection in the hostel  were suggested by the ex Nigerian student association President Paul awojulu, and the hostel leaders Idris Akande, Ezekiel Nathaniel, which was supported by all the students voluntarily as a means of discipline to oblige the students to attend classes because the class attendance was low and the university authorities were not happy about it. The 50 euro fine was collected by Paul awojulu. Concerning the 300 euro fine, the hostel leaders and all students collectively agreed after series of fighting that any student who fights again will be sent back to Nigeria and Ezekiel Nathaniel, Miracle Ezeobi, and Unity Ikponmwonsa fought,  then 2 executives of the newly created Nigerian union visited the hostel and intervened with a plea that the students involved should be fined financially for their misconduct instead of sending them back to Nigeria. The fine was collected by Ibezim Joseph Ike an alumni of AUM. The money was used to repair the hostel appliances provided by the university when destroyed by the students, and the money was always in the custody of the hostel leaders and the ex president of the Nigerian students association of Moldova Paul Awojulu.

Evbaekha Kelvin, Ogbonna Emmanuel Okezie, Promise Ikponmwosa and other students said they are satisfied with the services of the university, they attend lectures and they are satisfied with their  lecturers which is why they voluntarily initiated the idea to support the university  so as to bring awareness to the general public that their experience with the university is absolutely nothing like that of the expelled students and they confirmed that they are not victims of human trafficking, extortion and other allegations made by the students that is been sponsored and supported by the Nigerian Union of Moldova.

The whole story changes when the students state that the  real cause of the ongoing issue has nothing to do with the university AUM/USPEE but a lot to do with the older group of Nigerians who are not students but have access to students at their workplace. This older group of Nigerians has personal issues with Dr Ugbo Johnbull because he is exposing and hindering all their efforts to turn the Nigerian community and Moldova into a cult  where illegal activities can be carried out by using the students as Majority of the Nigerians are students.

According to the students, the older guys in Moldova consist mostly of the executives and some members of the Nigerian Union who  tells students that studying gives them limited years of stay in Moldova and that students have the right to remain in the country after studying and that their  dream can be brought to reality if more students testify falsely against the university and professor  Avornic Gheorge and Dr Ugbo Johnbull because they believe Dr Ugbo Johnbull is forcing the  students after they complete their study to return back to their country whereas the law of Moldova allows them to stay in the country. This is one of the strategies that the  Nigerian union is using to brainwash the students and keep the students under their control. Right now, more than 80% of the students has been threatened here in Moldova and their families in Nigeria and the union has succeeded to brainwash the student  by this strategy to carry out their order which is to falsely testify against Dr Ugbo Johnbull since they have no legal proof of the accusations.  The Nigerian Union of Moldova  and its members are advising students to seek for asylum hence they should stop paying their tuition and hostel fees, stop studying, create artificial issues and terminate their study contract, testify falsely and they can reside in Moldova forever without paying tuition fees because with this method, the students can save more. The propaganda of the Nigerian union has made the peaceful and law abiding Nigerian students in Moldova to become disrespectful, violent and radical.

Promise Ikponmwosa is an alumni of AUM since 2019, currently a student of USPEE and the Vice President of the Nigerian students association of Moldova said before the press conference organised by the accusing students, the older guys who are the said executives and members of the Nigerian union of Moldova advised the students to write the circulated letter anonymously and there is proof to this statement. After her experience  with the said executives in 2019 she has reasons to believe the union has bad intentions towards the students and pleads to the governmental authorities to investigate the union, it’s executives and members who’s been residing in Moldova even before 2019 as well as the ongoing allegations levelled against the university, Professor Avronic George and Dr Ugbo Johnbull.

The President has been inactive after he received several threats and stigmatisation for speaking the truth so he resigned  and the secretary said he doesn’t want to be in the media.

Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Ovenseri Peter Airoyuwa, until recently a student at the American University of Moldova, had a weakness for alcoholic substances and was regularly influenced by them.

Being under the influence of alcohol, the above-mentioned citizen went to a market near the university hostel expressing inappropriate and violent behaviour towards the market employees, thus violating public order. Subsequently, the Head of the Foreign Students Department, Mr. Ugbo Johnbull, called a meeting of students in the hostel to elucidate the reasons for the incident in the market. However, during the meeting, Ovenseri Peter Airoyuwa behaved aggressively and was asked to leave the meeting by the Head of the Foreign Students Department. Following the interruption of the meeting, an argument broke out in the hallway of the hostel between Ovenseri Peter Airoyuwa and the Head of the Department, with Odiase Osazee Richard coming to the student's support. An escalation of the situation ensued, citizens Ovenseri Peter Airoyuwa, Odiase Osazee Richard, Akande Idris Damola and Ezeike Chukwuemeka Nathaniel exhibited gesticulations that turned into violent shoving with the aim of assaulting the Head of the Foreign Students Department, Mr Ugbo Johnbull.

On February 27 this year, the American University of Moldova and USPEE "Constantin Stere" convened the Ethics Commission to investigate video materials on violent behavior of students of the institutions. Following the meeting of the Ethics Commission, above-mentioned students  were proposed for expelling as their behavior was assessed as unacceptable.
